Why The WaterBoss ?

No.1 for Salt Use

Most softeners that will fit comfortably in a kitchen cupboard have to run inefficiently to produce sufficient softened water for the average household. Because of its size and superior compacted softening media (resin) the WaterBoss is not only able to provide for any size household, but is able to run at ultimate salt efficiency.

No.1 for Waste Water

On regeneration-which takes only 18 minutes-the WaterBoss discharges only 2.2% of its softening capacity to drain. Some softeners discharge nearly three times as much -
a consideration if you are on a water meter. The regenerant water (brine) is made with softened water to avoid scaling of valve parts. Granular, tablet or block salt can be used.

No.1 for Flow & Features

The Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Unvented Supply Systems Equipment (MODUSSE) and British Water stipulate that the guide requirement for unvented water heating systems with storage is 50 litres per minute at 1 bar pressure drop.

The unique circulation characteristics within the pressure tank of the WaterBoss make it the only domestic softener that meets this guide. A 1” connecting manifold is available where appropriate. The WaterBoss has an inbuilt sediment filter that traps debris and automatically backwashes.

Soluble iron is removed by the ‘softening’ process- the WaterBoss will remove five times as much as ordinary softeners.

A shut off valve is located within the salt cabinet to prevent overfilling and overflowing.

There is a blending valve to provide a little water hardness if preferred.

No.1 for Simplicity

No clock to set, no reserve capacity to calculate, no commissioning necessary. Just set the hardness with the test kit provided-you will not need to adjust it again.

The microprocessor has an infinite memory so no correction is necessary when there is a power failure.

The WaterBoss is set to regenerate when the metre indicates that the capacity has been exhausted - after one hour or one year!

No. 1 for Build Quality

The unit has been conceived and built as a total concept to achieve the best possible performance.

Consequently it is the largest and most robust domestic unit available and careful consideration should be given to its location.

Every unit goes through total system testing in the factory.

Whilst the unit is waterproof and can be installed outside, adequate frost protection must be provided.

There is an extensive comprehensive guarantee.
